There are many different definitions for the word motivation.
One of them being: Internal and external factors that stimulate desire and
energy in people to do something. In more simple words it’s the drive that
pushes you to do something, whether you are doing it for yourself or for a
reward. Internal factors come from
within, and it is when you personally motivate yourself to do something because
you want to reach a certain goal.
External factors are rewards, doing something not for enjoyment, but to
gain something. Although both types of motivation differ from each other they can
both have positive outcomes.

In my Media and Everyday Life class I learned about the co-production of meaning. It is the process which persuaders and
audience arrive at a mutually agreed upon meanings for words and for symbols. I
also learned what a Mediated World
is. A mediated world is when environment
media serves as intermediaries in the communication process between audiences
and persuaders.
